Advisory Group
Purpose
The State Advisory Group (SAG) is chaired by the Project Officer, Kim Batsche-McKenzie and is comprised of key stakeholders and community agencies to support the Early Childhood Courts. This group will work towards the development of statewide and local infrastructure for the Early Childhood Courts, including pursuing legislative activities for sustainability. The SAG will advise the State Leadership Team about how the Safe Babies approach could be aligned with and improve state/local system integration efforts that also aim to strengthen families and prevent child maltreatment and/or child welfare involvement. The SAG will ensure that the Early Childhood Courts expansion will promote equity, holistic family support, and protective factors.
Next Meeting
The Advisory Group will meet quarterly via Zoom. The next meeting is scheduled for May 16, 2024.
